Fragrance Favorites of Simone Simons

One thing is for sure: when it comes to fragrances, Simone Simons, frontwoman of Epica, is no slouch. Her favorites, which she has often presented on the YouTube channel ➤ Leni's Scents, show clear similarities.

Although she says she doesn't like synthetic vanilla scent very much, she mostly wore Black Tie by Celine during her performances in 2023. This Eau de Parfum has notes of vanilla, iris butter, cedar, musk, and oakmoss. The scent is classified as sweet-powdery, but Simone describes it as universal because it is suitable for both men and women.

On her blog, Simone writes about her favorite, Crystal Noir by Versace. With top notes of blackcurrant, black fig, and violet, heart notes of frangipani, jasmine, and tuberose, and base notes of cashmeran, sandalwood, vanilla, and heliotropin, this sweet-floral fragrance has become Simone's number one go-to scent. She describes the Eau de Toilette as fresh, spicy, sexy, and clean. While wearing it, she feels fresh and put-together.

„This is sex for me“: In Leni's Scents YouTube video „Perfume Chit-Chat with Simone Simons,“ she describes Rehab by Initio exactly like this. Lavender, musk, sandalwood, bergamot, black pepper, cedarwood, and patchouli create the perfect combination for going out and clubbing.

Simone even followed a guy in the supermarket to find out what he was wearing: Explorer by Montblanc. The top notes of bergamot, pink pepper, and sage make the men's fragrance a fresh unisex scent, according to the diva. Heart notes of Haitian vetiver and leather and base notes of ambroxan, akigalawood, patchouli, and cocoa make the scent more robust and masculine.

• Occasionally, she sprays Eau de Parfum or Eau de Toilette on her hairbrush and then brushes her hair.

There, she encourages everyone to wear the scent they like best. The perfume connoisseur believes that there are no purely "men's" and "women's fragrances," but all should be declared unisex.
