Elegant yet comfy: Floor Jansen and her fashion style on and off stage

When thinking of metal fashion, terms like black, provocative or daring might come to mind. At first glance, this could also apply to Floor's fashion. However, upon closer inspection, one discovers many intriguing statement pieces that give her looks a distinctive “Floor touch.” In addition to black, the singer often incorporates other colors into her outfits. She achieves this particularly well with colorful jackets or dresses in bold shades. Naturally, details such as lace, leather, or studs are a must. Belts, arm bands, tights, or corsets: Floor sets no limits for herself or her fashion.

Before her pregnancy, the Dark Diva often chose a corset adorned with leather ruffles, straps, studs, and numerous gold details. She paired this figure-hugging garment with a cape or, more often, with a statement jacket featuring puffed sleeves.

With smoky eyes and precise eyeliner, Floor accentuates her stage presence and her music with her expressive makeup. When she wears lipstick, she typically opts for shades of red in various tones. A sensual eye-catcher. Her hair is always worn down on stage. Her look is completed by her striking, colorful tattoos, including a large owl on her right upper arm and floral motifs on her left side.

In her private life, Floor embraces more color. Alongside vibrant red, leopard print, and tie-dye, black is still a staple. She wears dresses, blouses, denim, and occasionally a wool hat or felt hat. What differs most from her stage look is her makeup. She almost entirely skips eyeshadow and isn't afraid to appear unadorned on social media. We love it!

For her solo album, the singer showcases a completely different fashion side. Here, she opts for earthy tones and minimalism. Whether in a white lace dress or a statement jacket in antique pink, Floor demonstrates that she can wear anything.
